FALL YOGA: New Moon – time to make your plans!

BLACK MOON, second new moon in a month, will come on August 31, 2019. It will be a great time to plan ahead. Not only it will give us a chance to evaluate the events from the past month, it’s also great time start to think ahead for August and Fall. Whether you want to make a change around your life, or your body, the night of the 31st will be the time to get your priorities straight.

JULY has been intensive month for redirecting your life in many areas. Definitely, it was intensive and confusing time for me! ( I happily retired from my nursing career!) It seems to me all changes came from the above – a taskmaster Capricorn, as a Divine navigator, in this month. Misunderstandings, frustrating, and difficult questions around our ambitions keep coming at us hard and fast. In order to adapt to (and even benefit from) these astrological events, remember the message of the first new moon: Go slowly, answer setbacks with resourcefulness, and view challenges as opportunities for growth.

YIN YANG YOGA – New for Fall Yoga, 2019

Yin Yang yoga is a practice that balances the dynamic Yang (Sun) with the slower paced Yin (Moon) yoga. This class will start with a more active and dynamic practice to energize and strengthen the body. The Yin style will open the body to more flexibility and quiet the mind to close the practice. Practicing the balancing act of life throughout yoga practice improves energy and strength while promoting relaxation and well-being. You will leave this class feeling refreshed and energized.

Sneak peak into first class, a starting definition:

Yin / Yang: Two halves that together complete wholeness. Yin and yang are also the starting point for change. When something is whole, by definition, it’s unchanging and complete. So when you split something into two halves – yin/yang, it upsets the equilibrium of wholeness. Both halves are chasing after each other as they seek a new balance with each other.
