About this Course

This therapeutic yoga class promotes a fun, thoughtful and non-competitive approach to practicing yoga with the class mantra for: Mobility, Stability and Balance. We will focus on the functions of your body rather than on the aesthetic look of yoga poses. The emphasis will be on strengthening your spine, stretching your muscles, and deepening your breath. Veronika will explain natural body science behind the flows and poses and offer adaptations as needed. Body, mind, and spirit yoga principles will be woven into this practical application.

WHAT DO YOU NEED? Some yoga experience is beneficial, but not required. Participants will be expected to go down and up from their yoga mats independently. If needed, yoga props may be used.

About this Course

Meditation and mindfulness practice calms the body and mind so you can de-stress, find a sense of peace and improve your level of happiness. These yoga practices are powerful tools used in preventative medicine to avoid, or manage health conditions such as anxiety/ depression, high blood pressure, heart problems, adrenal fatigue, insomnia, immunity disorders and gastrointestinal disorders. In this program, you will learn self-regulated techniques to balance your body with gentle stretches, breath and intention.

FUNCTIONAL YOGA: Body, Brain and Beyond/ AM class

( the most sought in a person yoga class from Winter 2021)

This program can be called “High Performance of Healthy Aging” addressing physical and mental health for ‘forever young’ generation. It provides a yoga wisdom to harmonize “Body, Brain and Beyond.”  You will enjoy ‘smart yoga’ with all yoga props and moves, and your brain will be marinated by prana breath flow. ‘Happy hips’ or ‘brain gym’ are only a few ‘gems’ of this yoga self-healing program.

HATHA STRETCH – FALL, 2021/ PM class

HATHA STRETCH is an opportunity to stretch, unwind, and release tension. This therapeutic class provides a good counterpoint to busy lives and cardio workouts. Participants will learn the science of alignment throughout this thoughtful practice. In this series you will experience the joy of stretching, the peace of balance and the stillness of mind.
