“There are two basic motivating forces: FEAR AND LOVE (Yin and Yang). When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. “ ~ John Lennon~
A Story of my life…
My name is Veronika. I am a therapeutic yoga teacher, yoga therapist with a bionic knee, healing arts practitioner, and Traveling Lady Moon — a seasonal travel writer, all are deeply rooted in my core.
My journey of life began in Europe where I was born and raised. But my true Hero’s journey was embarked later on after immigration to Canada, more than 20 years ago. On my new, step by step, discovery I learned who I am and how to navigate my life. It was a stressful, confusing and lonely time for me. Despite all odds, I was able to turn this opportunity and rebuild my life from scratch.
Like many others in the same shoes, I worked hard during the daytime and studied the English language even harder in the evenings. Slowly, class by class, I made my way to the nursing program and became a nurse. Now I know there is no insignificant choice because every choice creates a platform for new experiences to arrive.
This rewarding career created a strong foundation for my professional work. Soon I uncovered the power of holistic nursing that led me to yoga study and travel. I completed many journeys on my wisdom quest! At the present, I keep offering yoga teaching and yoga therapy sessions and traveling with my family and our grandchildren.
